Tutor DB is an open marketplace where skilled tutors have the freedom to establish their own pricing. Generally, a novice tutor's rate may range from $8 to $15 per 15-minute increment. Rates for more seasoned tutors can fall between $15 and $30 for every 15 minutes.

A minimum fee for 15 minutes applies to each session, based on the tutor's rate. After the initial 15 minutes, Tutor DB bills according to the tutor's per-minute rate. Additionally, a service fee is applied to each transaction.
